Suppose you were chosen to help others like yourself make all the major decisions.

We all are chosen to make major decisions in our lives ...and it's called freedom of choice.

But, if you are a leader, or a head of something ...then you are partly responsible for making decisions not just affecting yourself.

If you are a ruler, such as a King ...President ...or Emperor, then you have much influence over the choices left for others to make.

There's been talk of a One World Government or a New World Order ...a book by H. G. Wells, entitled The New World Order, was published in 1940.   The high-profile mention of a new world order was mentioned in a presidential speech in 1991. Since then, many people have used and overused the word, such as George Soros and like-minded people.

Suppose you were one of the people who were asked to help run this world government.  What decisions would you want to make?  How would you solve the world's problems?  And how would you deal with things/or people who seemed in opposition to solving those problems??

We have viewed the failures of past rulers, and also of the nightmarish imaginings of authors and movies ---such as the recent box office success of Hunger Games.  So, we may have many ideas what we would like a world government not to be ...but, how about some input into what we'd like it to be??

And I'm not talking about some wonderful one-liner by someone like a contestant of a Miss America pageant ...asking for world peace.  I'm referring to how you think we could achieve peace ...I'm talkin' solutions!!

Many leaders have proposed many solutions, but have any of them succeeded?

I know of the only peace ...and it is not in any of our lives here on earth.  It is only achieved because of the death of Jesus, and made possible for us through Him.

Every individual may image how they could make things better, and I agree each of us should strive to do that as we affect those around us ...but, we cannot make it better for everyone.

It does matter how you view Beings more powerful, more knowledgeable, and ever-present among us.

Each person must turn to the One who can make it better for them ...and that Person does not vary from each of our persons.

We may say we want to be more like God, but more accurately we can say we should all strive to be more like He'd want us to be.  Lucifer wanted to be like God, in a different sense ...in a sense, wanting to place himself in God's place.  That is dangerous, and we are tempted to do that daily in little subtle sort of ways.

The consciousness of God is a personal thing ...but it is also a shared consciousness.  And our choices are not always as conscious as we'd think.  We affect each other with our commitment, and how serious we take our relationship with God.

If we focus on God's standards, we should never forget the value of the person to whom God has given the standards.  And if we focus on God's love, we should never cheapen that love in taking for granted that He will forgive us for not expressing love enough to uphold those standards.

We always seem to propose the idea that it is compassionate to give, or be given a second chance.  Of course, that second chance is not really a second chance ...but, third ...fourth ...we plea the fifth ...and take it to the nth degree.

Did the angels get that many chances??  Do we clearly see that many examples have been given where people have repented right before they died??  One example is the thief on the cross next to Jesus.

Some people believe we will be able to repent, or have one more chance ...after we die.  I don't believe this, nor do I believe in the thought that usually goes with it ...that all people will eventually make it to Heaven.

I'd like to believe that ...but, if I understood, perhaps I wouldn't want to believe it.  I certainly never pictured in my mind that Heaven would be just like earth is now.

Nor do I believe that Satan can repent ...and it's not that I would not wish he'd get another chance, it's just that I know what the Bible says about the lake of fire.  And I think I know what forever and ever means.

And I read of many books ...but only one Book of Life. The many books seem to contain documentation of works, by which those are judged according to ...that is, those who aren't in the Book of Life.

Those who accept Jesus are not judged according to their works, but according to God's grace through Jesus.

And the Bible also says that whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life is cast into the lake of fire.

I did not participate in the writing of this ...but I choose to believe what I choose to believe.  And so do you!!

I do not celebrate just at the thought of myself being saved from the lake of fire ...I pray you also choose well.
